Ketac Molar Easymix

Ketac Molar Easymix is a radiopaque, fluoride-releasing glass ionomer restorative material manufactured by 3M. It is specifically designed for posterior restorations, particularly in the context of Atraumatic Restorative Treatment (ART) and Minimal Intervention Dentistry (MID). The material consists of a fluoroaluminosilicate glass powder and a polyacrylic acid liquid that, when mixed, chemically bond to both enamel and dentin without the need for an adhesive. Its primary therapeutic benefit is the sustained release of fluoride, which aids in the remineralization of the tooth structure and helps prevent secondary caries. It is indicated for use as a permanent restorative material in deciduous teeth, a base/liner, and a long-term temporary restorative in permanent teeth.
