Drug intelligence / Profile preview
KeyPRP is an autologous platelet-rich plasma (PRP) system developed by MD Biologix. It is designed to produce a concentrated suspension of platelets from a patient's own blood. The resulting platelet concentrate is rich in growth factors and cytokines, which are released upon activation to promote tissue repair, angiogenesis, and collagen synthesis. KeyPRP is primarily utilized in regenerative medicine and pain management for musculoskeletal conditions, such as tendon injuries, osteoarthritis, and ligament tears. As an autologous biologic, it minimizes the risk of immune rejection or cross-contamination.
