Overview
Keziderm-L is a topical antifungal cream containing luliconazole (1% w/w) and benzyl alcohol (1% w/w). Developed and distributed by Kaiser Drugs Private Limited, it is used for the treatment of various dermatological fungal infections of the skin. Luliconazole, the primary active ingredient, is an imidazole antifungal that works by inhibiting the enzyme lanosterol 14-alpha-demethylase, thereby disrupting the synthesis of ergosterol, a critical component of fungal cell membranes. This formulation is specifically designed for topical application to affected skin areas.
