Overview

KFA115 is an investigational small molecule immunomodulatory agent developed by Novartis for the treatment of select advanced cancers. It is currently being evaluated in phase 1 clinical trials as both a single agent and in combination with immune checkpoint inhibitors such as pembrolizumab and tislelizumab. The primary aim of these studies is to assess safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics (PK/PD), and preliminary anti-tumor activity in patients with various solid tumors including clear cell renal cell carcinoma, non-small-cell lung cancer, colorectal cancer, cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma, head and neck cancer, melanoma, triple negative breast cancer, ovarian cancer, mesothelioma, thymoma/anus/esophageal/nasopharyngeal/gastrointestinal cancers[1][3][8][9][10].
