Drug intelligence / Profile preview
KG-TM4SF1 is a preclinical therapeutic candidate developed by Beijing KeyGen (KeyGen Biotech) for the treatment of various solid tumors. It targets Transmembrane 4 L6 family member 1 (TM4SF1), a cell-surface protein that is highly expressed in several types of cancer, including lung, breast, and colon cancers, as well as on tumor-associated vascular endothelial cells. TM4SF1 plays a critical role in cell migration, proliferation, and the formation of new blood vessels (angiogenesis) within the tumor microenvironment. The KG-TM4SF1 program includes both a standalone monoclonal antibody and an antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) format. The ADC is designed to utilize the specificity of the anti-TM4SF1 antibody to deliver a potent cytotoxic payload directly to cancer cells, thereby maximizing anti-tumor efficacy while minimizing off-target effects on healthy tissues.
