Drug intelligence / Profile preview
KHK2823 is a fully human monoclonal antibody that targets CD123 (interleukin-3 receptor alpha chain), which is overexpressed on leukemic stem cells in myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) and acute myeloid leukemia (AML). By binding to and neutralizing CD123, KHK2823 aims to selectively target cancerous cells while sparing normal cells. The drug was developed for the treatment of AML and MDS but its development has been discontinued[1][2][4][5].
