Overview
KHR Biotech is developing an undisclosed lead small molecule inhibitor designed to target the RAS oncogene and its downstream signaling pathways. The therapeutic strategy focuses on inhibiting RAS at the cell membrane to block oncogenic signaling cascades that drive proliferation in RAS-mutated cancers. Currently in the preclinical stage, the program is being developed in collaboration with Indivumed, leveraging their comprehensive oncology database for target validation and development. KHR Biotech is a spin-off from the University Medical Center Mainz and is also exploring the application of this approach in autoimmune and infectious diseases.
