Overview
A Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) periodic therapy developed by the Children's Hospital of Fudan University for treating adolescent dysfunctional uterine bleeding (DUB) associated with Yin deficiency and blood heat syndrome. The treatment follows a two-phase protocol: during the bleeding period, a kidney-tonifying hemostasis prescription (comprising Nvzhenzi, Hanliancao, Tusizi, Xianhecao, Cebaiyetan, Danpi, and Zhimu) is administered to stop bleeding by clearing heat and consolidating the Chong and Ren channels. In the post-bleeding phase, a kidney-tonifying and menstruation-regulating prescription (comprising Shengshudi, Zhimu, Tusizi, Fupenzi, Bajirou, Danggui, and Danpi) is used to strengthen essence and regulate the menstrual cycle. The therapy is administered as oral granules.
