Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Kidsolite is an oral pediatric gripe water formulation developed and marketed by SPEY to relieve gastrointestinal discomfort, infantile colic, flatulence, and indigestion in infants and children. It is a fixed-dose combination containing sodium bicarbonate (Sajjikhar), dill oil (*Anethum sowa*), and ginger oleoresin (*Zingiber officinale*). Sodium bicarbonate acts as an antacid to neutralize excess stomach acid, while dill oil and ginger oleoresin serve as carminatives and antispasmodics that relax the smooth muscles of the digestive tract, helping to ease trapped gas and reduce intestinal spasms.
