Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Kin Gingival is an antiseptic oral care product line developed by Laboratorios KIN, primarily used as a mouthwash to treat and prevent periodontal diseases. Its core formulation, often marketed as Kin Gingival Complex, contains 0.12% chlorhexidine digluconate, a broad-spectrum antimicrobial agent that reduces dental plaque biofilm by disrupting bacterial cell membranes. The formulation also includes Alpantha, a complex of allantoin and panthenol (provitamin B5), which promotes the regeneration of the gingival mucosa and provides anti-inflammatory and soothing effects. It is commonly indicated for gingivitis, excessive plaque formation, and post-surgical dental care to maintain oral hygiene when mechanical brushing is difficult.
