Overview
KIN-KONG (omeprazole) is a small molecule proton-pump inhibitor (PPI) developed and marketed by Zhejiang Jinhua CONBA Pharmaceutical, a major subsidiary of the CONBA Group. It functions by irreversibly inhibiting the gastric H+/K+ ATPase enzyme system, commonly known as the proton pump, located on the secretory surface of gastric parietal cells. By blocking this final step in acid production, omeprazole effectively reduces both basal and stimulated gastric acid secretion. KIN-KONG is formulated as oral enteric-coated capsules and is indicated for the treatment of acid-related digestive disorders, including peptic ulcers and gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). The product has been recognized as an 'Outstanding Hi-tech New Product' in China and is a key pharmaceutical brand for the company.
