KIN131A is an investigational small-molecule agonist of the cytosolic pattern recognition receptor retinoic acid-inducible gene I (RIG-I), being developed as an intratumoral immuno-oncology agent to stimulate innate antiviral-like signaling and promote antitumor immunity.[1][3] Preclinical data presented by Kineta Immuno-oncology show that KIN131A activates RIG-I signaling, leading to interferon-driven immune responses, inhibition of tumor growth, enhanced survival, and in some models complete tumor regression, indicating potential utility as a local immunotherapy for solid tumors.[1][3]
