Drug intelligence / Profile preview
KIND-039 is a fully caninized, high-affinity monoclonal antibody targeting interleukin-31 (IL-31) developed by Kindred Biosciences. It is engineered with a novel half-life extension technology, resulting in up to a three-fold longer half-life compared to tirnovetmab, another IL-31 antibody. This allows for significantly longer dosing intervals, potentially improving convenience and compliance for canine patients. KIND-039 is being developed as a long-acting therapy for atopic dermatitis and other dermatologic indications in dogs[1][5][9].
