KINE-101 is a **novel synthetic nanopeptide** designed to treat immune-mediated diseases by selectively **activating regulatory T cells (Tregs)**. This disease-modifying action modulates both humoral immunity and cell-mediated immune responses, differentiating KINE-101 from symptomatic treatments by addressing underlying immune dysregulation. The drug is under clinical investigation primarily for **chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (CIDP)** and is also being explored for **inflammatory bowel disease**, **rheumatoid arthritis**, and **non-alcoholic steatohepatitis**. Developed by Kine Sciences, it offers potential advantages such as a favorable PK/PD profile, low immunogenicity and antigenicity, and the possibility for oral dosing.
