Overview

KISLip is a consumer health supplement developed by PICO Entech, a South Korean biotechnology company. It is formulated with aldehyde dehydrogenase (ALDH) enzyme derived from yeast-fermented powder and fermented rice extract using the company's proprietary ARC (ALDH Related Compounds) fermentation technology. KISLip is primarily marketed for hangover relief, functioning by accelerating the metabolic breakdown of alcohol and its toxic byproduct, acetaldehyde, in the body. Clinical studies have indicated that KISLip reduces blood alcohol and acetaldehyde levels in a dose-dependent manner, thereby mitigating hangover symptoms. While PICO Entech also utilizes its ALDH technology in cosmetic products, KISLip is specifically recognized as the world's first commercialized edible ALDH supplement.
