Overview

KJ101 is a recombinant chymotrypsin being developed by Shanghai Bao Pharmaceuticals Co., Ltd. for the enzymatic debridement of deep second-degree burn wounds. As a recombinant proteolytic enzyme, KJ101 functions by cleaving peptide bonds within damaged tissue proteins, facilitating the removal of necrotic tissue to promote wound healing.
