KJ107 (Hysorptase) is a recombinant human hyaluronidase (rHuPH20) developed by Shanghai Bao Pharmaceuticals (Bao Pharma). It acts as a tissue permeability enhancer by temporarily degrading hyaluronan (hyaluronic acid), a major polysaccharide component of the extracellular matrix in subcutaneous tissue. By breaking down this barrier, KJ107 facilitates the dispersion and absorption of co-administered therapeutic agents, such as monoclonal antibodies and other large-volume biologics. This mechanism enables the subcutaneous administration of drug volumes up to 1 liter, which would otherwise require intravenous infusion. KJ107 is available in both liquid and lyophilized formulations and has been approved in China for the facilitation of subcutaneous drug delivery.
