KKD001 is a recombinant humanized monoclonal antibody that targets interleukin-17A (IL-17A). Developed by Shangrao KangKede Biological Technology, it is designed to treat autoimmune and inflammatory disorders by neutralizing IL-17A, a key pro-inflammatory cytokine involved in the pathogenesis of conditions such as plaque psoriasis, psoriatic arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis. By blocking the interaction between IL-17A and its receptor complex, KKD001 inhibits the downstream signaling pathways that lead to the release of pro-inflammatory cytokines and chemokines, thereby reducing tissue inflammation. The drug is currently in early-stage clinical development, with Phase 1 trials focused on evaluating its safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetic profile in healthy volunteers.
