Kleb4V + AS03

Kleb4V + AS03 is a tetravalent bioconjugate vaccine candidate targeting Klebsiella pneumoniae. It contains O antigen-polysaccharides from the most predominant K. pneumoniae serotypes (O1, O2 including O2a and O2afg subtypes, and O3b) formulated with the AS03 adjuvant system. AS03 is a squalene-based immunologic adjuvant that contains 10.69 mg squalene, 11.86 mg DL-α-tocopherol, and 4.86 mg polysorbate 80. The vaccine is designed to enhance immune response against K. pneumoniae, a Gram-negative pathogen that can cause serious urinary and blood infections and pneumonia, and is a major public health threat due to its antibiotic resistance.
