KLN-1010 is a novel, in vivo CAR-T cell therapy candidate being developed for the treatment of multiple myeloma. It utilizes Kelonia Therapeutics' proprietary in vivo Gene Placement System (iGPS), an advanced lentiviral vector platform designed to enable direct, tissue-specific delivery of genetic material to T cells within the patient’s body. This approach aims to generate B-cell maturation antigen (BCMA)-directed CAR-T cells in vivo, potentially eliminating the need for ex vivo cell manipulation and lymphodepleting chemotherapy. Preclinical studies have demonstrated that a single intravenous injection of KLN-1010 can induce potent anti-tumor activity and complete tumor regression at multiple dose levels in animal models. The therapy represents a shift toward off-the-shelf, accessible CAR-T treatments for hematologic malignancies such as multiple myeloma[1][2][4][6].
