Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Klosterfrau Allergin Globuli is a homeopathic medicinal product developed by MCM Klosterfrau Vertriebs GmbH for the treatment of hay fever and pollen-induced allergic rhinitis. The active ingredient is a D2 dilution of *Adhatoda vasica* (Indian lungwort), which contains the alkaloid vasicin. This component is traditionally thought to dilate bronchial branches and reduce mucus production. The product is formulated as oral sucrose pellets (globuli) and is suitable for children from 6 years of age. It has been evaluated in Phase 3 clinical trials to assess its efficacy and tolerability in pediatric populations suffering from seasonal allergic symptoms such as itchy eyes and sneezing.
