Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Klosterfrau Bronchial-Tropfen is a traditional herbal medicine developed by MCM Klosterfrau for the support of mucus dissolution in the respiratory tract, particularly for coughs with mucus. It is formulated as oral drops containing a distillate of eucalyptus leaves (Eucalyptus globulus) and thyme herb (Thymus vulgaris) in 62.5% ethanol. The combination of these herbal active ingredients provides secretolytic, bronchospasmolytic, and mild anti-inflammatory effects, helping to liquefy viscous mucus, facilitate expectoration, and soothe bronchial irritation.
