Drug intelligence / Profile preview
KM-110 is an aqueous extract derived from Viscum album coloratum, commonly known as Korean mistletoe. It has demonstrated inhibitory effects on tumor metastasis and angiogenesis in preclinical models. The drug works by suppressing tumor growth and inhibiting the formation of new blood vessels that supply tumors. A key mechanism involves the induction of Tumor Necrosis Factor-alpha (TNF-alpha) activity by stimulating murine peritoneal macrophages, which contributes to its antimetastatic effects. Additionally, KM-110 has been shown to inhibit the growth of rat lung endothelial cells in vitro.
