Drug intelligence / Profile preview
KMD-110 is a recombinant fusion protein consisting of a human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2) targeting affibody fused to glutathione S-transferase (GST). Originally developed by Fusion Biotech and licensed to KMD Bio, KMD-110 is designed to selectively bind to HER2-expressing cancer cells. The GST domain of the fusion protein serves as a bio-linker that can interact with glutathione (GSH) for controlled drug delivery or act as a targeting moiety. KMD-110 is being investigated for the treatment of HER2-expressing solid tumors, including gastric cancer, lung cancer, and breast cancer.
