Overview

KMV002 (also known as IPT-PAP) is an investigational immunotherapy being developed by Chimigen Biosciences for the treatment of metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC). Utilizing the proprietary SynNeogen® platform, KMV002 is an engineered Fc-fusion protein designed for Immune Priming Therapy (IPT). It functions by delivering multi-epitope prostatic acid phosphatase (PAP) payloads directly to dendritic cells, which facilitates efficient antigen presentation and the priming of both CD4+ and CD8+ T cells. This mechanism is intended to reverse immune tolerance and transform immunologically "cold" tumors into an immune-responsive state, potentially enhancing the therapeutic effects of immune checkpoint inhibitors, androgen receptor-targeted drugs, and radiation therapy. As of 2024, the drug is in the IND-enabling phase of development.
