KN043 is a preclinical-stage multi-specific domain antibody (dAb) being developed by Suzhou Alphamab for the treatment of infections caused by Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA). Utilizing Suzhou Alphamab's proprietary domain antibody platform, KN043 is designed as a multi-specific agent to target multiple components or virulence factors of the MRSA pathogen. This approach aims to facilitate bacterial neutralization and clearance, potentially overcoming resistance mechanisms common in MRSA by binding to several distinct epitopes simultaneously. As of current pipeline reports, the drug remains in the preclinical phase of development.
