Drug intelligence / Profile preview
KN046 + carboplatin + pemetrexed is a combination therapy consisting of a bispecific antibody targeting PD-L1 and CTLA-4 (KN046) with two chemotherapy agents (carboplatin and pemetrexed). This regimen is being investigated for the treatment of metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). KN046 is a novel bispecific antibody that simultaneously blocks PD-L1 interaction with PD-1 and CTLA-4 interaction with CD80/CD86, potentially offering synergistic antitumor effects. The addition of carboplatin and pemetrexed chemotherapy to this immunotherapy approach aims to enhance treatment efficacy. Clinical trials have shown promising results with manageable side effects.
