Overview

KN052 is a bispecific antibody developed by Alphamab Oncology that targets both Programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1) and OX40 receptor. It is designed to simultaneously block the PD-L1/PD-1 pathway, thereby reversing tumor-induced immune inhibition, and activate OX40 receptor to promote an immune response. Preclinical studies have shown that KN052 exhibits significantly stronger antitumor activity than either single antibody or their combination, with an acceptable pharmacokinetic and safety profile. KN052 is the first PD-L1/OX40 receptor bispecific antibody to enter first-in-human clinical studies and is currently being evaluated in Phase I trials for advanced solid tumors[3][4][5].
