KNX200 Series

KNX200 Series is a group of small molecule positive allosteric modulators (PAMs) of the oxytocin receptor, currently in preclinical development by Kinoxis Therapeutics. These compounds are designed to enhance the activity of the endogenous oxytocin system, which plays a critical role in social behavior, emotional regulation, and stress response. The series is being investigated for a broad range of indications, including the negative symptoms of schizophrenia, social anxiety disorder, and alcohol use disorder, as well as conditions involving impaired stress adaptation and nociception. By selectively modulating the oxytocin receptor, the KNX200 Series aims to provide a novel therapeutic approach for neuropsychiatric disorders that are characterized by social and emotional deficits.
