Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Kojimed is a topical skin-lightening cream developed by Med Manor Organics for the management of hyperpigmentation, melasma, and dark spots. It is formulated as a combination of active ingredients including kojic acid, arbutin, octinoxate, vitamin E acetate, and mulberry extract. Kojic acid and arbutin act synergistically to inhibit tyrosinase, the rate-limiting enzyme in melanin synthesis, thereby reducing melanin production and fading hyperpigmented areas. Octinoxate provides photoprotection against UVB-induced skin damage, while vitamin E and mulberry extract offer antioxidant support to protect the skin from oxidative stress and environmental damage.
