Koletex

Koletex is a brand of therapeutic medical dressings and wipes developed by the Russian company Immunolex. These products utilize a biopolymer carrier, typically sodium alginate, to provide controlled and sustained release of medicinal substances directly to wounds, burns, or radiation-induced skin lesions. The product line includes several specialized formulations tailored for specific clinical needs: **Koletex-D** contains the immunomodulator sodium deoxyribonucleate (Derinat) to stimulate healing and tissue repair; **Koletex-M** incorporates the antioxidant mexidol; and **Koletex-ADL** combines the antiseptic dioxidine with local anesthetics such as lidocaine and benzocaine. Koletex dressings are primarily indicated for the prevention and treatment of radiation-induced skin reactions (radiation dermatitis) in oncology patients, as well as for the management of surgical wounds, burns, and chronic ulcers. They are designed to maintain a moist wound environment while delivering active pharmacological agents locally.
