Kombalgin Ice

Kombalgin Ice is a topical cooling gel developed and marketed by the Russian pharmaceutical company Promomed Group. It is specifically formulated for the symptomatic relief of joint and muscle pain, and is effective both during movement and at rest. The product is particularly indicated for reducing morning joint stiffness. The primary active ingredient is menthol, which provides a cooling sensation upon application by acting as an agonist of the TRPM8 (Transient Receptor Potential Melastatin 8) receptors in the skin. This activation triggers a local analgesic effect and serves as a counter-irritant to alleviate musculoskeletal discomfort. The gel is manufactured at Promomed's Biokhimik facility in Saransk and is typically applied to the affected area 2-4 times daily.
