Overview

KPL-045 is an investigational fully-human monoclonal antibody designed to inhibit the interaction between CD30 and its ligand CD30L, a T-cell co-stimulatory receptor involved in activating and sustaining memory T-cells. By blocking this interaction, it aims to modulate immune responses driven by activated T-memory cells. It was developed primarily for autoimmune and inflammatory diseases but was discontinued from clinical development based on preclinical data within the developer's portfolio. The drug was developed by Kiniksa Pharmaceuticals.
