Overview

KQ-19B CAR-T cells are an autologous, dual-targeting chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy directed against both B-cell maturation antigen (BCMA) and CD19. Developed by Shanghai Changzheng Hospital, this cell therapy is designed to treat relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma by simultaneously targeting two antigens commonly expressed on malignant plasma cells, potentially reducing the risk of relapse due to antigen loss. The therapy is currently undergoing early-phase clinical evaluation to assess its safety, tolerability, and preliminary efficacy in adult patients.
