Overview

KR-336 is an investigational mRNA-based immunotherapy being developed by Kernal Biologics for the treatment of various solid tumors, including non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and colorectal cancer (CRC). It is engineered using Kernal's proprietary mRNA 2.0 platform, which focuses on onco-selective translation. This technology utilizes cell-specific computational models to design mRNA sequences that are selectively translated into therapeutic proteins only within cancer cells, while remaining untranslated in healthy cells. This approach is intended to maximize the therapeutic index by delivering potent anti-tumor payloads directly to the tumor microenvironment while minimizing systemic toxicity. KR-336 is currently in the early stages of development, following the company's lead programs in immuno-oncology.
