Indi Molecular is developing a synthetic cyclic peptide targeting the KRAS G12D mutation using its proprietary Protein Catalyzed Capture (PCC) agent platform. These PCC agents are designed to function as 'synthetic antibodies,' offering high affinity and selectivity for their targets while maintaining the small size (typically <4 kDa) and biophysical stability characteristic of small molecule drugs. The lead candidate is specifically engineered to bind the oncogenic KRAS G12D mutant protein, thereby inhibiting its downstream signaling pathways. This mutation is a primary driver in approximately 90% of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinomas and is prevalent in other solid tumors. The program is currently in the preclinical development stage, focusing on providing a targeted therapeutic option for KRAS G12D-mutant pancreatic cancer.
