KRAS G12V mutant antigen-specific TCR-T cells are an autologous T-cell receptor (TCR) engineered T-cell therapy designed to target the KRAS G12V mutation, a common driver in various malignancies, particularly pancreatic cancer. These cells are specifically engineered to recognize the KRAS G12V neoantigen presented by the HLA-A*11:01 major histocompatibility complex (MHC) class I molecule. Developed by Jinling Hospital Affiliated to Nanjing University (Eastern Theater General Hospital), this therapy aims to provide a precision immunotherapy option for patients with advanced pancreatic cancer who have progressed on standard treatments. The treatment involves the ex vivo expansion and modification of a patient's own T cells to express a TCR specific to the mutant KRAS peptide, which are then re-infused to selectively eliminate tumor cells expressing the mutation.
