Drug intelligence / Profile preview
KRAS mutation-specific TCR-T cell therapy is an investigational cell therapy developed by Alaunos Therapeutics in collaboration with the National Cancer Institute (NCI). This therapy utilizes Alaunos's proprietary non-viral Sleeping Beauty gene transfer technology to engineer T-cells. These engineered T-cells are designed to specifically target tumor-specific hotspot mutations in the KRAS gene, aiming to induce an immune response against cancer cells. Clinical data has shown an objective clinical response in patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer.
