Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Kromastat (formerly known as NBS-M001) is a novel polymeric nanoparticle (PNP) formulation of a highly potent Class I-selective histone deacetylase (HDAC) inhibitor. Developed by Nouveau Biosciences, the drug utilizes a proprietary polymer-based nanochemistry platform designed to optimize drug delivery, enhance targeting, and improve tolerability and efficacy in cancer therapeutics. Preclinical studies have demonstrated that Kromastat possesses marked activity against pancreatic cancer, aggressive leukemias, and T-cell malignancies, including relapsed or refractory cutaneous and peripheral T-cell lymphoma. Nouveau Biosciences has partnered with Anova Enterprises to conduct a Phase 1 (First-in-Human) clinical trial in Australia, with plans to advance to Phase 2 in the U.S. under a 505(b)(2) regulatory pathway.
