KSD-201 is an autologous dendritic cell vaccine developed by Wuhan Kangshengda Medical Technology for the treatment of advanced clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC). The therapeutic process involves the collection of a patient's peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs), from which monocytes are isolated and differentiated into dendritic cells ex vivo. These mature dendritic cells are then administered back to the patient via subcutaneous injection, typically near the axillary or inguinal lymph nodes, to act as professional antigen-presenting cells. The goal of the therapy is to stimulate a systemic, targeted immune response against malignant tumor cells. A clinical study (NCT06708936) was planned to evaluate the safety, tolerability, and preliminary efficacy of KSD-201 in patients with advanced ccRCC, but the trial was withdrawn before enrollment began.
