Drug intelligence / Profile preview
KSD-301 is a personalized neoantigen mRNA vaccine developed by Kansun Biopharma. It is designed to stimulate a patient-specific immune response by delivering mRNA encoding unique tumor-specific neoantigens identified through genomic sequencing and bioinformatic analysis of an individual's tumor. The vaccine is currently being evaluated in a Phase 1 clinical trial (ChiCTR2500110218) in combination with gemcitabine and nab-paclitaxel for patients with locally advanced, unresectable pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) who have not received prior systemic therapy. The goal of KSD-301 is to enhance the recruitment and activation of neoantigen-specific T cells to improve therapeutic outcomes in pancreatic cancer, a disease typically characterized by a "cold" immune microenvironment.
