Overview

KSH001 is a biosimilar monoclonal antibody candidate developed by Kashiv BioSciences (formerly Kasway Biotech) that references omalizumab (Xolair). It is a humanized IgG1 kappa antibody designed to bind specifically to human immunoglobulin E (IgE) in the blood and interstitial fluid. By sequestering free IgE, KSH001 prevents it from binding to the high-affinity IgE receptor (FcεRI) on the surface of mast cells and basophils, thereby inhibiting the release of inflammatory mediators that drive allergic responses. KSH001 is currently in Phase 1/2 clinical development for the treatment of allergic asthma and chronic spontaneous urticaria.
