KSHB005

KSHB005 is a biosimilar monoclonal antibody candidate developed by Kashiv BioSciences, designed as a biosimilar to the reference product pembrolizumab (Keytruda). It targets the programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) receptor, an immune checkpoint found on the surface of T-cells. By binding to PD-1, KSHB005 blocks its interaction with the ligands PD-L1 and PD-L2, which are frequently expressed by tumor cells to evade immune detection. This blockade reactivates the immune system's ability to recognize and destroy malignant cells. KSHB005 is intended for the treatment of various oncological indications, including melanoma and non-small cell lung cancer, mirroring the therapeutic profile of the reference biologic.
