KSI-401

KSI-401 is a recombinant mammalian cell–expressed antibody biopolymer conjugate developed by Kodiak Sciences as part of its Antibody Biopolymer Conjugate (ABC) platform for the treatment of dry age-related macular degeneration (dry AMD). It is designed as a long-acting intravitreal biologic targeting components of the complement system implicated in the pathogenesis of dry AMD, aiming to reduce complement-mediated retinal inflammation and degeneration while enabling extended dosing intervals compared with conventional intravitreal biologics. Publicly available information characterizes KSI-401 as a complement factor inhibitor in preclinical or very early development, distinct from Kodiak’s VEGF-focused ABC agents for wet retinal diseases.[3][5]
