Overview

KT-200 is an orally bioavailable molecular glue degrader designed to selectively target and eliminate Cyclin-Dependent Kinase 2 (CDK2). Developed by Kymera Therapeutics and licensed by Gilead Sciences, KT-200 is engineered to address various cancers where CDK2 serves as a primary driver of tumor proliferation and a mechanism of resistance to other cell cycle inhibitors. Unlike traditional small molecule inhibitors that merely block the kinase activity of the protein, KT-200 functions as a molecular glue to induce the proteasomal degradation of CDK2, potentially providing a more comprehensive and durable therapeutic response. The program is currently advancing through IND-enabling studies, with an Investigational New Drug (IND) filing anticipated in 2027.
