Overview

KT107 is an investigational second-generation chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapy being developed by Nanjing Kati Medical Technology for the treatment of small-cell lung cancer (SCLC). The therapy involves engineering a patient's T-cells to express a CAR that targets Delta-like ligand 3 (DLL3), a protein frequently overexpressed in SCLC and other neuroendocrine tumors while showing minimal expression in healthy tissues. By targeting DLL3, KT107 aims to provide a highly selective treatment option for SCLC, a recalcitrant malignancy with limited therapeutic alternatives. As a second-generation CAR-T, it typically incorporates costimulatory signaling domains (such as 4-1BB or CD28) to improve the expansion, persistence, and cytotoxic activity of the infused cells within the tumor microenvironment. The program is currently in the preclinical stage of development.
