Overview

KT502 is a bispecific monoclonal antibody developed by Kali Therapeutics for the treatment of autoimmune diseases, specifically rheumatoid arthritis. It functions as a T-cell engager by simultaneously targeting CD19 on B cells and CD3 on T cells. This dual binding facilitates the recruitment and activation of T cells to selectively deplete pathogenic B cells, a strategy aimed at resetting the immune system in B-cell-mediated conditions. KT502 is designed for subcutaneous administration and is currently undergoing Phase 1 clinical evaluation to assess its safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacodynamics in adult participants.
