Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Kunning Oral Liquid is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) compound formulation widely utilized in gynecological practice in China. It is primarily indicated for the treatment of abnormal uterine bleeding, postpartum hemorrhage, and menstrual irregularities associated with blood stasis. The preparation is composed of several botanical extracts, including *Leonurus japonicus* (Motherwort), *Panax notoginseng*, and *Angelica sinensis*, which collectively exert hemostatic, anti-inflammatory, and analgesic effects. In clinical research, such as studies sponsored by Beijing Friendship Hospital, Kunning Oral Liquid is being evaluated for its potential to prevent the recurrence of intrauterine adhesions (IUA) following transcervical resection of adhesions (TCRA). The drug is hypothesized to promote endometrial repair and modulate inflammatory responses to inhibit the fibrotic processes that lead to adhesion formation.
