KUR-212 (also known as I-020502) is a recombinant protein drug developed for use in wound healing, specifically to enhance the healing of autologous meshed skin grafts. Its mechanism of action involves stimulation of fibrinogen and agonism at platelet-derived growth factor receptors (PDGFRs), promoting tissue repair and regeneration. The drug has been evaluated in phase II clinical trials for its safety and efficacy in patients undergoing skin autografting procedures. It was originally developed by Kuros Biosciences.
