**KUVA-01** is an investigational, non-radioactive intravenous magnetic resonance imaging agent being developed by Kuva Labs for detection of solid tumors, including metabolic and endocrine cancers. It comprises certepetide, an iRGD cyclic tumor-penetrating peptide that targets tumor-associated alpha-v integrins and activates a neuropilin-1-mediated uptake pathway, co-administered with 8-PEG20, a PEGylated nanoparticle MR signal agent. The combination is intended to selectively deliver and retain the MR contrast component within solid tumor tissue, enabling high-contrast, high-resolution MRI without ionizing radiation. KUVA-01 is being evaluated in a randomized, placebo-controlled Phase 1 single-ascending-dose study in healthy adult volunteers.
